Location:  Swedish Medical Center has three hospital facilities in Seattle: Swedish/First Hill (just east of downtown); Swedish/Cherry Hill (Central Seattle); and Swedish/Ballard in Ballard.

General: Swedish/First Hill is a 697-bed facility offering a full range of medical and surgical services; Swedish/Cherry Hill (formerly Swedish’s Providence campus) is a 385-bed facility; and Swedish/Ballard is a 163-bed community hospital.

Highlights:

Swedish is the largest nonprofit health-care provider in the Greater Seattle area. In addition, Swedish has a free-standing emergency room and specialty center in Issaquah and a network of 12 primary care clinics. Swedish is also one of the nation’s leading clinical-trial sites with as many as 600 clinical trials being conducted by Swedish-affiliated physicians at any given time.
