Nearly 450,000 infant car seat/carriers recalled due to fall hazard
A infant car seat/carriers manufactured by the Dorel Juvenile Group, Inc. of Columbus, Indiana and sold as Safety 1st, Cosco, Eddie Bauer and Disney branded products have been recalled after reports that the carrier handle can come loose and come off.

“Consumers should stop using recalled products immediately unless otherwise instructed,” the U.S. Consumer Products Safety Commissioned warned in a notice announcing the recall.
The manufactured “has received 77 reports of the child restraint handle fully or partially coming off the car seat/carrier resulting in at least three injuries to infants including bumps, bruises and a head injury,” the notice said.
About 447,000 infant cart seat/carriers are covered by the recall.
