Obstetrician and gynecologist Dr. Lisa A. Leonard has joined The Polyclinic Madison Center.
Dr. Leonard earned her medical degree from the University of California, Irvine, College of Medicine, and completed her internship and residency training at the University of Washington Medical Center, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Leonard has 17 years experience in private practice, hospitals, large multi-specialty clinics, and most recently providing care for the past two years as a volunteer with Doctors Without Borders.
During her time with Doctors Without Borders, Dr. Leonard provided obstetrical and gynecological care in Nigeria, Sri Lanka and Haiti and served in a variety of administrative capacities including acting as co-director of a high-risk OB hospital referral center.
Dr. Leonard’s practice includes all aspects of obstetric and gynecological care. She has a special interest in high-risk obstetrics, vaginal surgery, teenage and menopausal medicine as well as global maternal-fetal health issues in underserved populations.
Dr. Leonard speaks conversational Spanish and French.
