Free immunizations for school kids in Tukwila

Swedish and Other Local Health Providers Helping Provide Free Immunizations and Backpacks to School Kids at Event in Tukwila on Saturday, Aug. 28

WHAT:

With school just around the corner, it’s important to make sure your child’s health-care needs are up to date, especially when it comes to immunizations.

With that in mind, a variety of local health organizations led by Swedish – including Community Schools Collaboration, Public Health of Seattle & King County, Washington Global Health Alliance and HealthPoint – are sponsoring and hosting a free back-to-school immunization clinic tomorrow afternoon.

In addition to providing free immunizations, organizers will giveaway free backpacks to the first 200 students to participate in the clinic.

WHEN:

Saturday, Aug. 28 from 1-5 p.m.

WHERE:

Showalter Middle School, 4628 S. 144th St., Tukwila.
