“Our World at War” exhibit highlights Red Cross’s international work

The American Red Cross and Seattle Center Productions will be hosting a photographic exhibit documenting the consequences of war at the Seattle Center from June 26 through August 15.

In conjunction with the exhibit, the American Red Cross Serving King & Kitsap Counties will also be presenting a series of public events that will take a closer look at violence and refugee issues, and how they affect the Greater Seattle metropolitan area.

The exhibit features images from areas of conflict includig Afghanistan, Colombia, Democratic Republic of Congo, Georgia, Haiti, Lebanon, Liberia, and the Philippines by renowned war photographers Ron Haviv, James Nachtwey, Antonin Kratochvil, Franco Pagetti and Christopher Morris.

The exhibit presented by the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), VII Photo Agency, and the Newseum of Washington, D.C.

  • Our World at War: Photojournalism Beyond the Front Lines

When:

  • June 26 – August 15 from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. daily.

Where:

  • Seattle Center’s Harrison Street Gallery in the Center House, located at 305 Harrison Street
