Find drug and alcohol treatment programs online
The U.S. Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration has posted an updated version of its guide for finding drug and alcohol treatment programs near you.
Search brings up a map and description of programs near you.
The guide provides a directory that you can search by city, state or zip code to find local programs and facilities that are licensed and certified in each state.
The directory provides such information as the type of facility, level of care provided, and whether the programs are for special groups, such as adolescents, people with mental disorders, or women who are pregnant.
The guide also provides information on forms of payment accepted, language services available, and therapy with such drugs as whether methadone or buprenorphine therapy is offered.
