Seattle’s Targeted Genetics names new CEO and president
Seattle biotechnology company Targeted Genetics has announced that H. Stewart Parker—its CEO and President—and Dr. Barrie J. Carter, PhD—its Chief Scientific Officer and Executive Vice President—have resigned.
Parker has served as Targeted Genetics’ president and CEO since 1989.
Carter served as executive vice president since 1992 and CSO since 2001.
Parker will be replaced by B.G. Susan Robinson. Robinson had been the company’s Vice President of Business Development.
Parker will remain on the company’s board of directors.
