Learn about diabetes research in the Seattle area

Hoping to encourage patients to participate in clinical trials, the American Diabetes Association, the Washington Biotechnology & Biomedical Association and the Northwest Association for Biomedical Research are holding a conference about research being conducted in the Seattle area.

The conference will include talks by local scientists as well as patients who have volunteered for research studies.

The conference will be held Wednesday, November 5 at the Museum of History and Industry in Seattle from 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

The event is free, but registration is requested.

Diabetes Research: Participation Critical

The American Diabetes Association, Washington Biotechnology & Biomedical Association and Northwest Association for Biomedical Research invite you to be a “Research Hero.”
Learn about the frontiers of diabetes research and the heroes, including volunteers in clinical trials, who are making advancements toward better treatment, better prevention, and the hope of a cure.

This event is free.
