Logo for Seattle Children's

Seattle’s Children’s Hospital & Regional Medical Center has adopted a new, shorter name, Seattle Children’s, and a new logo: two smiling interlocked whales, one small, rust-orange colored whale, which is encircled—almost cradled—by a larger blue whale.

The logo’s design, though modern,  echoes the traditional designs commonly used by Northwest Native American tribes.

The hospital says the logo is intended to reflect “our region’s heritage and our commitment to compassionate care.”

The new slogan “immediately identifies where we are and what we do,” the hospital says.
